Katherine Adkins has been Affirm’s Chief Legal Officer since July 2021, bringing decades of leadership experience from roles at Affirm and Toyota Financial Services (TFS). At Affirm, she guides legal, compliance, and strategic banking initiatives for the fintech’s point-of-sale financing solutions. Before Affirm, Katherine led legal and compliance teams at TFS as Group Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, also overseeing vendor management and audit functions. Known for building high-performance teams, she founded an innovation practice at TFS that fostered creativity within the organization.
