Natalie is the Chief Engineering Officer at Duolingo, where she leads engineering teams and drives product direction and strategy through a culture of extensive A/B testing. Passionate about innovation, she is leveraging generative AI to build new features and accelerate content creation. Under her leadership, Duolingo’s technology is expanding into new subjects, such as Math and Music. A dedicated mentor, Natalie co-founded the International AAAI Conference on Web and Social Media and supports young researchers through the Adamic-Glance Distinguished Young Researcher Award.
